The underpass - nicknamed "the Armadillo Hole" - is the fastest route between the North Wing and South Wing, uninterrupted by light or crosswalk, true extension of the center lane road axis ("Eixão"). The speed, the stretch is reduced to 60 km / h.
A passagem inferior — apelidada "Buraco do Tatu" — é o caminho mais rápido entre a Asa Norte e a Asa Sul, sem interrupção por semáforo ou faixa de pedestre, verdadeira extensão da pista central do Eixo Rodoviário ("Eixão"). A velocidade, no trecho, é reduzida para 60 km/h.
